Came back to San Diego for a couple of days to get married. I took this picture of the courthouse after we left the airport. We’re getting married at 10:30am today!

Man, I’ve had a shitty couple of weeks. Lost my favorite jacket - brand new, dropped it leaving the airport after I took it off. Yesterday, I lost a $100. I got destroyed last weekend in Vegas. I have some unexpected moving expenses that my employer should be picking up.
Despite this, I’ve been really lucky to be running into a lot of decent people, like the guy at OB business center who ran out to hold the FEDEX guy for me, and the FEDEX guy who stopped and waited so I could overnight paperwork to New York, and the Brits who are helping me with last minute travel needs.
Jude has been a bit of a pill the last few days, probably because we are back to no naps and rough nights. I needed to shake off my building impatience and the beach was just what the doctor ordered.
It was windy and a thick fog was rolling around most of the time, but that doesn’t dampen this little guy’s spirit. He was as curious as ever and wanted to spend most of his time digging under the pier and chasing seagulls, just like the last time. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay too long because someone forgot to throw our sweatshirts in the car - mom fail. Lesson learned, but whether it was an hour, or all day, there is something about this place that always makes us happier people.
